Question

What time should I arrive to the wedding?

Answer

Please arrive no later than 4:15 PM. The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30 PM.

Question

What is the recommended attire?

Answer

Rehearsal Dinner: We will be outside at a park so please dress comfortably! Casual Attire is perfectly acceptable! Wedding: Cocktail Attire: Wear cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, and dark jackets and slacks. Farewell Brunch: Casual Attire: Anything goes, from sundresses and sandals to jeans and tees.

Question

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Summer saunters in with average highs in the 70s, very little humidity, and cool evenings that beg you to leave the windows open. It's the season when you need a pair of shorts as well as a light jacket. Chances are you'll wear both-and sunglasses. The sun shines most every day-summer through winter. Rains vary with the year, but typically storms brew on summer afternoons. They don't last long though, just long enough to water the flowers and keep meadows green.

Question

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors. The reception will be indoors.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There will be shuttles provided to transport our guests to/from our events throughout the weekend. *Please see the Travel section for more details. If you wish to drive to the rehearsal dinner or wedding, there will be plenty of parking available. Please do not drive (if not necessary) to the farewell brunch as parking is EXTREMELY limited.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #NicksSumartimeLove and #Novakat so we can keep track of all of your pictures!

Question

When will the reception end? Will there be an after-party?

Answer

The reception will end at 11 PM. For our party animals, the bride and groom will head to the Wheel bar after the wedding to keep the party going. Feel free to join us if you'd like!

Question

While any trip to Colorado is sure to be a blast, there’s one thing that just might get in the way of your fun: altitude sickness in Colorado.

Answer

While you’re acclimating to higher elevations, take it easy on the exercise. Get plenty of sleep, and don’t try to crush a 14er on your first day! Make sure to drink plenty of water throughout your visit to Colorado. Not only will this help with altitude sickness, but the dry climate of Colorado as well.
