It all started on the playground in 2001 when Mikey laid eyes on a brown eyed curly haired cutie. We became best friends pretty quickly and remained best friends for the last 25 years. In high school at 17 years old we made a pact to each other that one day we'd get married. Throughout our 20's we'd check in on each other and make sure the other one hadn't changed their minds. On a cold January night, I finally told Mikey I was ready for him to take me out on a date. I'm pretty sure he froze in place and thought I was messing with him. Oh, but I wasn't. After our first date, we both knew this was it and the timing was just perfect. What started out as just friends soon turned into hours of laughter, shared adventures, and the feeling that something truly special had begun. We decided to take the ultimate leap, quite literally! During what Haley thought was just another bucket list skydiving date, Mikey had something extra special planned. As we floated back down to the ground high on adrenaline, Mikey was waiting with a banner that said "Will you Marry Me?". Immediately, YES! We've stood by each other through all the chapters growing up and now we get to continue that as we grow old. We can't wait for our future to unfold and to continue the belly laughs forever.
