Semi-formal would be best! Our ceremony will take place in a church. We're delighted to be hosting a fancy-pants event - come dressed up, but keep in mind that November weather in Walnut Grove can be cold and potentially rainy.

Are these locations accessible?
Answer
Yes, St. Anthony's Church has a ramp on the right-hand side of the building for wheelchair accessibility, and the Grand Island Mansion has an elevator for accessing the ballroom and dining areas on the ground and first floors.

We will be serving a buffet, so you will be able to enjoy: Oven Roasted Prime Rib of Beef Chicken Riesling Caesar Salad Red Onion & Tomato Salad with Goat Cheese & Vinaigrette Fettuccini Alfredo Assorted Grilled Seasonal Vegetables Freshly Sliced Fruits & Berries with Chocolate Ganache and Chantilly Dip and Freshly Baked Rolls & Foccacia Bread alongside passed hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour and a selection of desserts afterwards. From the Sacramento/Davis area: Take I-5 South for about 20 miles. Exit 498 for Twin Cities Road, turn Right. Turn Left onto River Road. Right onto 2nd Ave. From Reno: Take either I-80 West or I-50 West towards Sacramento. Exit to I-5 South. Take I-5 South for about 20 miles. Exit 498 for Twin Cities Road, turn Right. Turn Left onto River Road. Right onto 2nd Ave. From the Bay Area: Take US 101 South. Exit 460 to CA-37. Exit 21C to I-80 East. Exit 43 to CA-12 East. Left onto CA-160 North/River Road. OK, but how do I get from the church to the reception?

Head down 2nd avenue, away from the church. Turn left onto CA 160-N. In 5.4 miles, turn left onto Grand Island Road. Follow the road for almost 3 miles (2.8 miles) and the mansion will be on your left.
