Things To Do

Trattoria Amalfi

Trattoria Amalfi

385 South Broadway, Salem, NH 03079
, 6038935773

This is one of our favorite date night and family birthday celebration spots! The food is incredible and staff is very friendly. We recommend booking dinner reservations in advance though because they book up quickly and oftentimes waits can be atleast two hours without a reservation.

MaryAnn's Diner

MaryAnn's Diner

3 Veterans Memorial Parkway, Salem, NH 03079
, 6038939877

MaryAnn's is a great spot for breakfast! Their food doesn't disappoint, their wait staff is friendly and prices are fair too. The atmosphere is very fun and nostalgic of a 50s style diner. We recommend getting there early to avoid wait times as it can get pretty busy on weekends.

The Irish Cottage

The Irish Cottage

17 Branch Street, Methuen, MA 01844
, 9782084347

This is one of Mike's favorite local spots - a cozy Irish pub style restaurant. Lots of beer on tap and a mixture of classic Irish dishes and new age spin offs. They even have live music Thursday through Sunday evenings!

Portsmouth

Portsmouth

Portsmouth, NH 03801

We had our second date together in Portsmouth, NH! We had lunch on the water at the Martingale Wharf - amazing food and a beautiful view of Old Harbour. Portsmouth is about an hour's drive from Salem, NH. The city is a picturesque port along the Piscataque River with plenty of shops, restaurants, museums and art galleries to stroll through and enjoy. We highly recommend checking it out if you've never visited and have the time. It's worth the drive!

Tuscan Village

Tuscan Village

9 Via Toscana, Salem, NH 03079

The Tuscan Village - formerly the Rockingham Racetrack - "170 acres of dining, entertainment, and first-class retail await" Whether you're looking for a good spot for lunch or dinner, grabbing drinks at the Artisan Hotel rooftop bar or Sam Adams beer garden, or just want to shop til you drop there is something here for everyone.
