Before we met, we were each navigating life with full hearts and busy hands- raising our kids, building our careers, and growing into the people we were meant to be. We hadn't yet found that lasting kind of love, but we both believed something - or someone - special was still out there. Then came a dating app, a well-timed right swipe, and a spark we never saw coming (always have to include a lineman joke)! We started talking in October 2022 and it immediately felt easy, natural, and right. We had our first date that same month, and honestly? It was love at first sight. From that day on, we've been pretty much inseparable. Since then, we've built a life and a love that feels like home. We love our quiet routines, time with our kids, and traveling together - whether it's a romantic getaway or just a drive with good music and bagels. Our days are full of shared laughter, meaningful conversation, and that calm kind of joy that shows up when you're exactly where you're meant to be. On May 21, 2025, in the quiet charm of Coronado, CA Matthew proposed - a moment that was heartfelt, genuine, and absolutely perfect - just like us. And Elizabeth said yes (with absolutely zero hesitation and maybe a few happy tears)! While we're still sorting through the details - venues, timelines, color swatches, and food - we're soaking in every second of this chapter together.
