Our Story

Our story began through a long-standing family connection that kept our lives intertwined from a young age. Because our families were close, we spent a lot of time together growing up, and even then there was an instant connection between us—one that never fully faded. As the years went on, we somehow always found our way back to each other. I nannied for Ryan’s family, and he always seemed to find reasons to stop by just to see me. No matter how much time passed, that pull between us never really disappeared. We tried more than once to make things work, but the timing was never quite right. In May of 2024, after I graduated college and decided to spend one more summer back home, everything finally aligned. We rekindled our relationship for good, made long distance work, and quickly realized we were done waiting. Within five months, Ryan moved closer, and the rest felt easy. We’ve always known it was us, and while trusting God’s timing wasn’t always simple, I’m so grateful it led us exactly here. In the end, the story they had been writing since childhood unfolded exactly the way it was meant to.
