Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, we would love for our guests to join us in formal attire. For gentlemen, wear a suit and tie or blazer with dress pants. For ladies, a mid-length or floor length dress would be wonderful. Our ceremony will be taking place on grass, please keep this in mind when choosing your footwear!

Will there be transportation to the venue?

Answer

Yes, we will have busses come to the DoubleTree Andover prior to the event to take you to the Stevens Estate and return you to the hotel at the end of the evening. There is also overnight parking at the venue for those who wish to drive. Bus departure from the hotel is at 4:00pm and departure from the venue at the end of the night is at 10:30pm. There will only be one departure time each way.

Will children be invited?

The ceremony and reception will be adults-only, we appreciate your understanding!

Do I have a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately there is a limit on the guests we can invite and cannot accommodate a plus one for everyone. For those with a plus one, we have listed their name or "Plus One" on your Save The Date/Invitation.

How/When do I RSVP?

Answer

Once formal invitations are sent out, you can RSVP here on our website. Please send us your acceptances or regrets by August 1, 2026.

Do I need to be worried about the cold?

Answer

Late October in New England can be, like any other time here, very unpredictable. While there are space heaters for the reception area, we suggest bringing a shawl or coat for the ceremony as it will be outside.

Will alcohol be served?

Answer

Yes! There will be an open bar for cocktail hour and the reception. The bar will close 30 minutes before we depart from the venue (10:00pm).

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We will have professional photographers there to capture the ceremony and reception. We ask you turn off your electronics during our ceremony to ensure you are in the moment and not in the way of our photographers. Some of these photos will be posted on social media and all the photos will be available through a link at a later date. After the ceremony is complete and the wedding party has exited, you may turn on your devices and take pictures of whatever you wish!

Will there be an after party?

Answer

Yes! The bride and groom will be continuing the party at Characters Bar and Grill, located inside the DoubleTree Andover.
