Our meeting point will be under the archway (red star) near the Payday Express Lift.
Question

How do I get to the Snowed Inn Sleigh Company wedding venue?

Answer

This is where we really need you to pay close attention... our wedding is located on the ski resort, with no public road access. YOU CANNOT GET TO THE VENUE BY CAR!!! So... how will we get there you ask? Well, we will ALL be riding horse-drawn sleighs up to the ceremony and reception. Giddy up! We will meet at Park City Mountain Resort @ Payday Express Lift area - located in the Mountain Village. You can search "Payday Express Lift" on Google maps. This is where we will get checked in and loaded into the sleighs. Please arrive promptly at 5pm! The sleighs will be departing shortly after, and there is no alternative way to get up to the venue. Parking is available in the Park City Parking Lot, or Uber/Lyft can be dropped off at Legacy Lodge. Please refer to the map above. Google Maps is NOT correct if you type in the Snowed Inn Sleigh Company, so be sure to follow the directions above. Please reach out in advance with any questions!

Question

How do I get to Red Tail Grill for the Welcome Party?

Answer

Red Tail Grill is located in The Grand Summit Hotel in Canyons Village of Park City Mountain. Uber or Lyft rides can be directed to/from the hotel lobby. For those skiing or snowboarding with us, look out for the Orange Bubble Express (Canyons Village) on the trail map, and you'll find Red Tail Grill right at the base of the lift. For those who are driving - CANYONS VILLAGE IS PEDESTRIAN ONLY! There are 2 options for parking: 1. Canyons Upper Village Lot (closest option) 2. Park City Mountain Cabriolet Ski Lift Base Lot. From there, you can ride the Cabriolet Ski Lift (for free!) on a 5-minute journey into Canyons Village.

Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Mountain Cocktail – Winter edition with a touch of western flair! Our wedding ceremony will be outdoors in the snow, with a sleigh ride and mountain views. Expect below-freezing temps, snow, and some walking between indoor and outdoor spaces on snow and ice! Here’s what we recommend (but not require!): Warm, but polished. Think wool, fur, velvet, cashmere, or lined silks. Layering is your friend - hats, gloves, and warm coats are encouraged. Smart footwear - Weather-appropriate boots or booties with good traction are ideal. Skip stilettos and slippery soles. Suggested looks: Men - Wool or velvet blazer, bolo tie, dress boots, warm coat or scarf. Women - Long-sleeve dress or jumpsuit in warm fabrics, heeled boots or booties, cozy outerwear. Most importantly, we want you to be comfortable and warm - function over fashion! As Mike likes to say, “There’s no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing choices!”

Question

Which ski pass should I buy?

Answer

While we love the tree skiing and turkey chili cheese fries at Deer Valley.... most of the wedding festivities will be taking place at Park City Mountain! If you're interested in skiing or snowboarding, you'll need to purchase a lift ticket via the Epic Pass website as linked below. To get the best rate, ask a friend who has an Epic Pass to send you a link for an "Epic Friend" lift ticket, which can get you up to 50% off the day rate. Lift tickets steadily rise in price closer to the date - and we don't want anyone to be stuck buying a lift ticket at the window ($$$). Please visit www.EpicPass.com for more information. We will be skiing at Park City Mountain on Friday with our friends and family, and would love for our guests to meet us on the slopes before the Welcome Party. If you aren't planning on skiing, there's no need for lift tickets.

Question

Where can I rent my ski/snowboard gear?

Answer

https://www.parkcitymountain.com/plan-your-trip/rentals/winter-equipment.aspx Epic Passholders get 20% off!

Question

What's the best way to get around town during our weekend in Park City?

Answer

Public Transit: Our local (and FREE!) bus system is a great option for getting around. For more info and routes, visit: https://parkcity.gov/departments/transit-bus Ubers/Lyfts: Often available, but can be limited in the winter - especially late at night. Please schedule in advance. Personal Vehicles: Driving around town is easy, as long as you have snow tires or 4WD! However, please note parking can be limited during the busy winter season, especially at the ski resorts.

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

While we love your little kiddos, space is limited at this event to those specified on your invite. We suggest Care.com to find babysitters in the area! Please reach out if you have any specific needs.

Question

Are you registered anywhere?

Answer

Your presence is truly the greatest gift! Traveling to the mountains to celebrate with us means the world. For those who have asked, we’ve created a small registry with a few things we love - but please know that gifts are absolutely not necessary. Given limited space, we kindly ask that no physical gifts be brought to the venue.
