Does the reception start immediately after the ceremony?
Answer
No, there is a gap between the ceremony & reception. We suggest that guests use this time to check into their hotels & freshen up, explore the back bay neighborhood, or visit the "Oak Room" at the Fairmont Copley Plaza, located directly across from the Boston Public Library, to have a drink before our reception begins at 7pm.

How should I get Around? Is there transportation?
Answer
The beauty of our venues is that transportation is not needed! The church, hotels, and library are all in walking/short uber distance of one another. If you are Ubering, please make sure you are calling ahead with ample time in case of weekend traffic, weather, or high demand. For those not staying over and driving to the wedding, is there parking available?
Answer
For our ceremony, there is metered street parking or parking garages near St. Cecilia's. For our reception, there is also metered street parking and plenty of parking garages in the area but we would recommend: - Parking garage at 100 Clarendon Street where guests can pull into the garage as usual, and request a voucher from BPL staff at the wedding to scan when they leave the garage to receive a discounted parking rate of $20. This discount is not available for overnight parking. - Back Bay Parking Garage: The Library does not offer a voucher for this location, but they do have a $10 online special for $10 parking on weekends. Visit backbaygarage.com to access this parking special. If it's nice out, we'd recommend parking in one location for both events!

What should we wear for the Black Tie dress code?
Answer
We can't wait to dance the night away with our favorite people & see everyone dressed to impress! For men, we recommend tuxedos or a black suit with a black tie and for ladies, floor-length dresses/gowns.

During our church ceremony, we ask that you do not take photos as we have professional photographers and videographers who will capture these special moments. At our reception, feel free to snap away!
