Things To Do

Forest Park

St. Louis, MO 63112

One of our favorite parts of St. Louis! You can go for a walk or take a picnic into the park. But don’t worry - you’ll see it before our wedding reception since the Art Museum is in the center of the park!

Saint Louis Zoo

1 Government Drive, St. Louis, MO 63110

Free admission! Located in Forest Park. Check out Megan’s favorite animal - the elephants, or John’s favorite animal - the bears.

Sasha's Wine Bar

706 De Mun Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63105

Where we met for our first date! If it’s a nice day, sit on the front patio or go up to the roof patio for more shade.

Busch Stadium

700 Clark Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63102

For those looking for something to do on Friday night or Sunday afternoon, the legendary Cards-Cubs rivalry is in town the same weekend as our wedding. If you don’t want to get tickets into the stadium, Ballpark Village is also a great spot to watch the game.

Our Favorite Bars

For those looking to grab a drink in between the wedding & the reception, here are our favorite bars around town: 1. Tamm Ave. - has a great back patio if it’s a nice day. Located in Dogtown, the Irish neighborhood in St. Louis. Can order food from Byrd & Barrel (attached to the bar) or bring in your own pizza from Felix’s half a block down. 5 minutes from the reception. 2. Side Project Brewery - great microbrewery consistently ranked one of the best in the US. 10 minutes from the reception. 3. McGurk’s Irish Pub, Broadway Oyster Bar - both out of the way downtown, but two of our all-time favorite spots. Worth noting if you happen to go into the city to see the Arch or the Cardinals play. 12 minutes from the reception. 4. High Bar, Flight Club - both good spots for cocktails in Clayton. High Bar is the rooftop bar at the AC Hotel. Flight Club is a 10 minute walk.
