The very first time I met Robert, I thought he was cute but all I said to him was “hello.” After many conversations, I had a mini crush on him but I thought he would never like me. Even though everyone around me saw something different, I still could not believe it. I finally messaged him on Instagram and asked if he liked me. He said “yes” and I replied “so when are you going to ask me out?” He asked my parents’ permission then asked me out shortly after. After months of dating I knew that he was the one for me and told my parents in confidence that I was going to marry him. I was the first one to say “I love you” which happened on accident after a date. Two weeks later, he said “I love you too” and I was relieved! God knew what he was doing because Robert is everything I have ever wanted

When I first met Suleen, all I saw was a pretty girl. It was just a quick "hello." The next time we meet, her eyes were different. I would later find out she was wearing contacts. For a while she was just a cute girl that I enjoyed spending time with, but I knew she was different when she asked me when I was going to ask her out. We started going on dates, then we started dating. She made me happy. I would pray that if she was the one, God would give me a sign. Soon I realized that my prayer had changed. I no longer prayed that God show me if she was the one, but to make sure I was the one for her. I would pray that God make me a better man. That was when I realized I was in love with her.

Suleen and I first met at a youth service about six years ago! We stayed in contact throughout the years through social media, youth events, and even roomed together at our last camp. But we grew even closer once she began attending IPC. A few of my favorite things about Suleen are: her ability to light up every room, her amazing sense of humor, her compassion towards others, and her loyalty to her friends and family. Suleen and I share many memories, but the most treasured one is the day Nicole and I took her to look at engagement rings! Seeing her joy and excitement was so beautiful and it is something I will never forget. It truly is an honor to support both her and Robert as they begin their journey together!

Embarrassingly enough, I actually do not remember exactly when I met Rob. When I was in high school, I remember him just randomly popping up at church and he just eased into my friend circle. Despite not remembering how we met, I can definitely recall all the good times we’ve had of road trips, late nights, making movies, and many other moments filled with laughter and good vibes. Rob is probably the most consistent friend that I’ve ever had. He’s never treated me any different throughout the years, and also asks me if I want to hang out with him. I consider him not only as a best friend, but a brother.

Suleen and I met after a Sunday evening service in the fall of 2017. At the time, Rob and I had already been close friends for many years and the night I met Suleen, I knew she would be a great compliment to him! Suleen and I bonded over a love for country music, sushi, and adventure. My favorite Suleen and Nicole moment was when both of us convinced everyone to watch Hairspray (Zac Efron version, 100%) and then sang every song together… word for word. I thank God for bringing her not only into Rob’s life but into mine as well!

I’m Roberto’s sister and the first time I met Suleen was on Christmas Eve. I really liked how she blended with our family and when Peyton gave her a hug, she had my approval. I’m so glad my brother and Suleen found each other.

I first met Suleen at the local taco spot near our church (well, at the time it was just Suleen’s). I found in her my equal spazz and goofball, and kept coming back to church; Suleen pretty much helped Jesus bring me into His family. Then there’s the obvious compassion and kindness Suleen showed to me that one autumn night when I felt like no one else in the world would understand me. Suleen definitely proved me wrong and the rest, they say, is history.

Roberto is my only brother, when I heard about Suleen I had many questions! Who is this girl!?? We were on a social media hunt; I thought she’s so cute and tiny! When my brother told me, we were going to meet her; he said she was nervous and I thought to myself GOOD SHE BETTER BE!!! It was Christmas Eve and in she walks this tiny lady. I knew we would get along the moment I met her!

I Met Robert Menchaca In August 2015, Walking Alicia To The Door After A Movie Date. A Year Later Robert Moved In With Me And Has Been The Best Roommate I’ve Had. Robert Saved My Sons Life 13 Months Later By Rushing His Sister Alicia To The Hospital While I Was At Work. An Hour Later We Both Watched As My Miracle Peyton Was Born. I Will Never Forget That Day Sitting Next To Robert And Being So Thankful For Him. He Was The Obvious Pick To Be Peyton’s Godfather.
