Flights (Travel from Canada):
Currently, there are no direct flights to Ahmedabad. Sukriti prefers flights that land in Bombay instead of Delhi but if you want to visit some landmarks like Taj Mahal, Red Fort and Qutub Minar (among many others, Delhi is a good place to start your trip)
Direct flights: Prefer Air canada over Air india.
Non-Direct flights: Sukriti usually breaks her journeys with 4 hours in UAE. Airlines offer bundled tickets based on a layover incorporated in UAE, London or Frankfurt (Please check transit visa requirements based on your passport).
Suggested Airlines: Emirates, Etihad, British Airways, Lufthansa.
We wouldn’t suggest more than 1 layover because its a long journey and more than 1 layover means greater than 24 hours of travel.
Timing to book tickets: March is not a peak travel period. Book tickets at least 2 months in advance for good rates.
Events in Ahmedabad start at 6PM on March 18. Arrive at least 1 day early if you’d like to shop for outfits.
