FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The wedding will be taking place at the Gurdwara. Please dress in pastel colors. Punjabi suits, Anarkali suits, and Sharara suits are recommended for women as seating will be on the floor. Kurta’s with jackets are recommended for men, dress shirts and suits are okay as long as it is comfortable to sit cross legged on the floor. Head covering is required for everyone, we will be providing rumaals for men in our wedding colors. Shoes will be removed before entering the Gurdwara, socks are recommended. For the reception you can dress in any formal attire. Lehenga’s, Sari’s, gowns, etc. are recommended for women and suits and blazers for men. Please dress in your sparkliest attire in any color except gold. Thank you!

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

We kindly request no boxed gifts. Instead, we would appreciate any monetary contributions towards our future together.

Question

Are kids welcome at the wedding and reception?

Answer

Yes, all children who are invited will receive their own RSVP. It is up to the parents to decide if their child should attend the events or not. If they do attend, please be mindful of them! Both the wedding ceremony and reception will be recorded, and the photographers and videographers have requested that parents of young children be mindful of noise interruptions and sound quality of the video.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to strict venue capacity, we can only accommodate those specifically named on your invitation. We cannot add extra guests, but we appreciate your understanding!
