Attire?

We recommend wearing whatever is comfortable for you! While the pavilion is covered with a concrete floor, it’s a beach. So if you plan to wear shoes they should be comfortable for walking on sand. Also, it will be Fall in the mountains, so layers are always a good idea.

If you have little ones you don’t want to leave at home, feel free to bring them!

What should I expect?

Answer

We will be at the beach, so feel free to treat it as just any other day with friends by the Lake. The ceremony will be short and sweet, probably by the water, possibly highlighted by strangers and children swimming past or running through. We’ll just go with it. Lunch, beverages, and dessert will follow. There are picnic tables to seat about 60, but your own beach chair might be more comfortable.
