Audubon Park has a couple of playgrounds for the kids, a walking/running/biking path around the park & plenty of water fowl to observe.
City Park

City Park holds the New Orleans Museum of Art, Storyland, Carousel Gardens Amusement Park, Botanical Garden, Sculpture Garden, City Putt Golf Course, multiple playgrounds, as well as walking/running/biking paths. Bike, canoe, and other rentals are also available to explore the park.
