You can apply for a visa online, there are two options which are a single entry $25 or multiple entry $50 options, the $25 single entry option is relevant if you only are travelling with in Vietnam. The $50 option is a multiple entry visa. Visas are processed quite fast but if you apply a week before you will be cutting it close. It's best to apply atleast two weeks before. It's very important to ensure your name and passport number etc match exactly or you will not be allowed to board the flight to Vietnam, they can be quite strict with this and not lenient at all. A central location is District 1. Anything above Ben Thanh Market would be good. You will be close to all the venues but also conveniently located to do things in the city. Booking options are agoda, booking.com and airbnb. Well known hotel chains are also available and reliable.
You can download Grab and book a driver, very much like Uber. Airport Grab Pickup Location: https://www.grab.com/global/airport-rides/tan-son-nhat-international-airport/
You can purchase a sim card from a kiosk upon exiting the airport. There are a variety of choices but we recommend using Viettel.

Your presence truly means the world to us, and that’s all we could ever ask for! ❤️ That said, in Vietnamese tradition, it’s common to give lì xì (a red envelope with a monetary gift) at the wedding. If you’d like to take part in this custom, envelopes will be available at the venue. No pressure at all. We’re just so excited to celebrate with you!
We want you to enjoy every moment of the trip, including the food! Street food can be fun to try, but please be mindful so you don’t miss out on the celebration. Pack your favorite probiotic (or grab one easily at a local pharmacy) to keep your tummy happy and your dance moves strong
