We were students at Purdue when we met, only months away from graduating. It was a challenging time to start a relationship, the pandemic was getting worse and Booker's grandma had just passed. But when we met for the first time, we knew there was something special happening, and quickly became each other's rock. Our first date was a long walk around the entire Purdue campus, where we quickly discovered our shared love for deep conversation and adventure. Booker found out Sudi had not seen Star Trek or Star Wars, and that simply wouldn't do, we had to keep dating and see them all together! Booker suspected Sudi might be the one when she watched 16 seasons of Star Trek before finally asking "can we watch something else for a bit?" Fast forward five years, and that simple walk that started it all continued into an incredible journey filled with love, laughter, and countless adventures. From supporting each other through grad school to looking out on their life together, we’ve grown stronger as a team. We’re so grateful for that chance meeting and the years of memories it has brought us. Now, we’re excited to celebrate the next chapter in our story surrounded by the people we love most!
