Levanie and I first met when we were 14 years old. We were both completing a 30hr Famine Challenge with our youth group from church. I mostly remember us jamming to music in the van and praying for the 30 hours to pass by quickly to eat! Our friendship grew because we enjoyed being our silliest selves together. We could talk about anything and neither of us would judge the other. Our biggest test was when I left for school 3,000 miles away. Levanie never fails though, she managed to make a surprise visit for my birthday and it was an amazing time experiencing the Caribbean life with my best friend. Our friendship is something I cherish and nothing could possibly break it. I am so excited to be part of her big day with James and I trust that he can take over as the role of best friend!

James is not only one of my best-friends, but he's also my realest friend since day one at AITE. Ever since “Down Since Day One” was written in my yearbook, he has repeatedly shown me how true of a friend he is. Not only with all the great times, but also with support, constantly telling me the hard truths time and again, and sticking by me even when those hard truths don’t sink in. After leaving CT in 2018, I sadly haven't had many opportunities to grow as close to Levanie as I am with James. However, I have seen her impact on my best-friend. His confidence has sky-rocketed, he is centered due to the peace, joy, and love she has brought to his life. That has shown me how amazing she really is. After almost 15 years I have never seen him this whole, this happy, and this much at peace.

Levanie and I met at CVS Pharmacy 5 years ago. When we met, we realized we were pretty much the same person and so, The Ratchet Twins were born. Over the last couple years, we have seen each other through some of the most trying times of our lives, but also some of our biggest accomplishments. Being able to see Lev in the relationship she truly deserves and has prayed for is amazing, to say the least. I cannot wait to see the beautiful life that her and James will create in this next chapter of their love.

One random night out with the boys, we decided to chill in a parking lot on High Ridge Road where I met this big nerd who quickly became one of my closest friends. Whether it was going to the movies, or chillin' on my couch to play video games, or partying all night, James was always there and my main compadre. Although we rolled our eyes at the suggestion when we were girls, I was, and still am, humbled and grateful to call this smart, funny, loving, generous and beautiful woman, my friend. It was unmistakable when we were younger how special Levanie and James’ relationship was. They are kind and passionate people with matching values, which makes their connection effortless. James and I met about 10 years ago through mutual friends. I don’t believe it took long for us to hit it off. James is always in good spirits and ready to have a good time. Even till today, whenever I speak with James I can count on being in a better mood than when the conversation started. One day James mentioned he met Lev and ever since that day that's all I’ve heard about. When I finally saw them together it felt like they’d been dating for years. Endless jokes and a great love.
