Philadelphia Museum of Art
Tour the museum or any of the others along Museum Row. Then take a walk up Fairmount Avenue to The Black Taxi to catch a soccer game (its a Liverpool bar), Fare Restaurant where we had our first date, or Bar Hygee, our favorite brunch spot.
Garage Passyunk
Check out the bride and groom's favorite bar, where we also had our (surprise for Liz!) engagement party. Just outside you can grab a cheesesteak at Pat's or Geno's, walk the Italian Market (and check out Angelo's for the best cheesesteak in the city), or walk to East Passyunk Ave which has a number of outstanding restaurants and bars - El Chingon, Gabriella's Vietnam, The Dutch, Triangle Tavern, Fountain Porter (for a burger) just to name a few. It's also where we live.
Independence Hall
Tour the museum and many other historic sites nearby. Then hit Khyber Pass for a bite, Sassafras for a cocktail, Zahav if you're feeling fancy (make your reservation now), The Olde Bar for seafood, or Buffalo Billiards to catch a game (GO BIRDS; GO LEAFS GO).
