Cleveland Botanical Garden
The sprawling, 18,000 Eleanor Armstrong Smith glasshouse gives visitors a glimpse of two worlds under one roof: one half is dedicated to the desert of Madagascar — look for the alien-esque Baobab trees and spiny succulents – the other replicates a Costa Rican Rainforest with lush greenery, including a colossal strangler fig and avocado, coffee, papaya and chocolate trees. Stand still for a bit, and one of the many butterflies floating around might rest on your head or sleeve. Outside, walk the grounds and take in the CBG’s Japanese, herb, rose, and topiary gardens.
Cleveland Museum of Art
Included in its wide-ranging permanent collection is one of the world’s leading assemblages of Indian and Southeast Asian art, and their Japanese, Chinese and Korean collections are among the most comprehensive in the world. Rock & Roll Hall of Fame
Visitors can expect to see one of the most impressive collections of memorabilia ever assembled — from John Lennon’s guitar to hip-hop pioneer Jam Master Jay’s gold chains. The Rock Hall also showcases a number of temporary, traveling installations throughout the year. Recent exhibits included a history of women in rock, "Girls to the Front," and a Paul Simon retrospective.
West Side Market
The indoor, European-style market has been around for more than a century and still looks like it did when it catered to the immigrant community all those years ago: vendors hawking Old-World baked goods; family-owned stands displaying their colorful produce; fishmongers offering smoked fish and eels; classic butcher cases filled with sausages...there is something for every palate.
Cleveland Metroparks Zoo
The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo aka Cleveland Zoological Park is a 183-acre zoo in Cleveland, Ohio. The Zoo is divided into several areas: Australian Adventure; African Savanna; Northern Wilderness Trek, The Primate, Cat & Aquatics Building, Waterfowl Lake, The RainForest, and the newly added Asian Highlands.

Cleveland Script Sign - Edgewater Park
You've seen them in your social media feeds, you see them on TV and you see them proudly displayed in publications both locally and nationally. We're talking about those Cleveland script signs and their scenic backdrops, which offer some of the best group photo ops in The Land. The script sign at Edgewater Park welcomes its visitors before they even make their way down to the beach area. Depending on the season, there are usually a lot of things happening at the park - from beaching and boating to wintertime surfing and sledding. Huntington Reservation
Huntington Reservation, acquired by Cleveland Metroparks in 1925, has been and continues to serve as the lakefront home to an extensive variety of Ohio wildlife, the site of refuge and relaxation, philanthropic ventures, educational endeavors, and host to the local arts scene. Three miles of nature trails pass through a variety of habitats ranging from forest, creek, and meadow. Huntington Beach is one of our favorite outdoor spaces to enjoy a picnic, walk or spend a day relaxing by the water and it's conveniently located right across the street from the wedding venue!
Playhouse Square
Any one of the five main theaters in Playhouse Square — Allen Theatre, Connor Palace, Hanna Theatre, KeyBank State Theatre and Mimi Ohio Theatre — are all worth seeing in person whether there’s a show or not. All were built between 1921-1922, most were restored to their original opulence in the 1970s and ‘80s, while others have seen more recent renovations. This massive collection of landmark theaters and its award-winning programming is the catalyst to Playhouse Square’s transformation into its own 24/7 Downtown district. In the past few years, Playhouse Square has transformed into a dining, entertainment and nightlife destination.
