Courtney
Maid of Honor
Courtney is Vanessa's best friend! They met freshman year at the University of Florida (Go Gators!) and went through two grueling years of nursing school together. They remained close even after graduation and currently live in the same apartment complex in Lake Nona together (hey neighbor!). They even work in the same children's hospital as Registered Nurses! She is beautiful inside and out, and she is definitely helped to keep the bride sane during this wedding process with her detailed master lists and willingness to help contact/research vendors. Courtney has been there for Vanessa and Jorge for years and she was the person that helped Jorge coordinate the day of the proposal so that it would remain a surprise for Vanessa. We love her so much; she is the kindest, smartest, and most radiant person you'll ever meet. We are so overjoyed that she is our maid of honor!
William
Best Man
William is Jorge's best friend! William is the most generous, warmest, most amazing human you will ever meet. He has been Jorge's best friend for years and has always been there for Jorge through thick and thin. They met while working in the deli at Publix and instantly starting talking and spending time together outside of work to become to great friends they are now. Vanessa met William and his now-wife Valeria in college through Jorge and they too quickly became close friends. We have all spent much quality time together through the years. We absolutely love Will and we are so blessed to not only have him be such an important part lives, but to also have him be a part of this very special day. And the most exciting news? Will is going to be a new dad soon, and the best dad ever at that! We are so happy for him and his wife and excited for baby girl to make her debut at our wedding!
Nicolle
Bridesmaid
Nicolle is Jorge's younger sister and Vanessa's soon to be sister-in-law. Nicolle is a beautiful, thoughtful, and wonderful person. Jorge and Nicolle have an amazing bond and have always been very close (even when they are fighting and tackling each other). Vanessa and Nicolle met in high school when Jorge and Vanessa first started dating and they became immediate friends. Nicolle has always felt like a sister to Vanessa, even when they were in high school, because they can talk about anything for hours and hours and they know everything about each other! Nicolle is currently in school and is set to be graduating college very soon after our wedding date! We are so proud of her and all that she has accomplished, and we are so honoured that Nicolle is going to be such an integral part of our wedding day.
Gregory
Groomsman
Gregory is one of Vanessa's younger brothers and is Jorge's soon to be brother-in-law! Greg is a social butterfly who can make just about anyone love him. He is compassionate, loving, and the happiest soul with the brightest light. When Vanessa first found out she was going to be a "big sister" she told everyone she could because she was so proud and honored to have that title. And now to this day, Vanessa is still so proud to be the older sister of such an amazing man. Jorge and Greg met when Greg was still in middle school and they have fostered such a beautiful relationship. We both love Greg so dearly. Gregory works at AdventHealth in Nutritional Services and is the hardest worker that we know! He loves all things sweet and spending quality time with his closest friends and family. We are so excited that he will be in our wedding party to closely celebrate our special day with us!
Karlie
Bridesmaid
Karlie is Jorge's sister and Vanessa's soon-to-be sister-in-law! She is gorgeous, smart, and sweet as honey! Karlie came into our lives a few years ago and we felt an instant connection with her and love for her. Jorge and I have watched Karlie grow up to be an amazing young woman and we absolutely adore her. Over the years, our relationships grew stronger and we could not imagine life without her. She has played such an active role in our lives and she brings happiness everywhere she goes as she showers everyone with kindness. Karlie will be starting her senior year of high school and will be graduating spring of 2024 with honors! We are so proud of our baby sister and we know she will do great things. We are also so excited that she will be playing such a key role in our wedding!
Zachary
Groomsman
Zachary is Vanessa's youngest brother and Jorge's soon to be brother-in-law. Zach is driven, passionate, witty, and Zeus's biggest fan. Vanessa remembers when she used to feed baby Zach his bottles, carry him around the house, and fight him all day. Now her baby brother has grown into a phenomenal young man; one that she is supremely proud of. Zach was in elementary school when Jorge met him and they cultivated a close relationship by Jorge being a huge part of his life from a very early age. We love everything about Zach, especially his dry sarcastic sense of humour- he can pull a laugh out of you any time. Zach is currently in school and will be starting fall semester 2023 at the University of Central Florida. He is also our very favorite Panera employee. We are so proud of him and so happy to have him be a groomsman!
