It started on a cold wintery New Year's Day in 2019. Having never met each other before, Su was shy and Wilson was nervous but it quickly got much warmer as the conversations deepened and feelings started to entwine. Eating Korean fried chicken, truffle fries, drinking beer and full of good vibes, we knew we didn't want the night to end...but it did. Fast forward a few more dates, some old school late night phone calls, countless delicious meals and the entire last season of GOT, we found ourselves amidst the pandemic which undoubtedly changed all of our lives in one shape or another. Not only did society and international borders lock down, we also took the big step to lock down our relationship.

Living together 24/7 in a one bed 700 sq ft enclosed space (drawing comparisons to the Tiger King) turned out to be the ultimate test. Well, they passed and graduated Summa Cum Laude. Perhaps Su hadn't known 100% that she graduated with honors just yet but Wilson quickly began making preparations for the proposal which required multiple stealthy ring measurements throughout the night and clandestine meetings with his best man and brother to execute the perfect proposal. On September 5th, 2020, in a vast field of vibrant sunflowers, surrounded by family and instagram influencers, Su said yes to the biggest sweet tooth and committed to a lifelong full of shenanigans and then some.
