The Black Pearl

They have a nice outdoor bar right on the water downtown - a stone's throw from The Mooring, too.
The Fastnet Pub

Further inland, but a great Irish pub for grabbing a pint.

White Horse Tavern

This place dates back before 1673 and is believed to be the oldest tavern in the United States.
Cliff Walk
Cliff Walk, Newport, RI 02840
Go for a beautiful 3.5-mile walk with the ocean on one side and extravagant Gilded Age mansions on the other. A uniquely Newport experience.
