We're getting married!

Kirsten moved to Gainesville, Florida in 2006 to attend the University of Florida, and Tom moved there after being discharged from the military in 2009. You may think that since they both lived in this small, crowded city, visiting many of the same establishments and even hanging out with many of the same people, that this is where their love story began but you’d be wrong. In fact, they never met a single time while in Gainesville. It wasn’t until events in both of their lives brought them to the Daytona Beach area, that their paths crossed. It was in 2019 when Tom laid his eyes on the most stunning blonde with sky-blue eyes that he’d ever seen in a pool room, of all places. They spoke casually until January 2020, when Tom had enough courage to ask her to go get Mexican food on a date. That’s where their love story began. Once Tom got out of his own way and allowed Kirsten in, he not only knew he had found his soon-to-be wife but his best friend as well. Three years of trips, concerts, birthdays, holidays, events, and the everyday grind of life later, these two have formed an unbreakable bond and partnership that they want to cement in marriage. Fast forward to the late hours of June 15th, 2023- Tom and Kirsten were home with their three cats and bearded dragon, packing for a birthday trip to Savannah, Georgia, where Tom asked his best friend for her hand in marriage.
