Question

What health and safety measures will be taken during the events?

Answer

To insure the health of our guests, especially those with a lot of life experience as well as loved ones who are at higher risk for complications from COVID, we are respectfully requesting that all guests be vaccinated. During early summer 2022, we will assess the status of the pandemic at that time and share any updated plans regarding health measures then. Our goal is to spread the love, not the 'vid!

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

Both events will be held at Emily's childhood home in Waterford, Virginia. Fun fact: Luke grew up right around the corner!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony? Where can I park?

Answer

Please arrive at the Beisler home no later than 5:30 pm to leave plenty of time for parking and seating. Valet service will be provided. You won't need to walk up the big hill! There will also be complimentary shuttle services to/from Lansdowne Resort and Tru by Hilton. Pick up and drop off times are listed below. 5:00 pm - Pick up at both Tru by Hilton and at Lansdowne. (Shuttles will depart no later than 5:10 pm.) 11:15 pm - Shuttles will depart Beisler home and drop off at both Tru and Lansdowne. If you plan to join us for the afterparty, then Lansdowne is your stop!

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is cocktail attire. Ladies, expect to walk on grass, so please plan to wear flats or shoes with thick or block heels.

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/ gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

Yes! The RSVP card included with the formal invitation will ask for any dietary restrictions. Also, please feel free to reach out directly to Emily or Luke.

All 'plus ones' are noted on the formal invitation as 'and guest.' If you have any questions, feel free to reach out directly to Emily or Luke.

If your child's name is listed on the formal invitation, then we would love to share our big day with them!
