We're getting married!

Growing up in the same small town of Marathon it's hard to believe that these two didn't first talk to each other until Andrew was nearly done with high school. Who would have thought that being in the same study hall would bring them together? After getting to know each other for a few months, they went on their first date on May 3, 2014 and made it official one week later :)

After asking Elizabeth's father for his blessing, Andrew wanted to plan a trip where he could pop the question. To add to the excitement, he invited some friends to tag along for the special moment. Andrew proposed at McLain State Park in Hancock, MI on July 21, 2018. On that day, his friends suggested that the group go out to the lighthouse before driving into town for the afternoon. There, Andrew got down on one knee on the shores of Lake Superior and Elizabeth said yes!

Andrew and Elizabeth currently reside in Eau Claire, WI with their puppy, Remy. Andrew is a registered nurse at Marshfield Clinic in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Elizabeth works as a registered nurse in the Float Pool at Mayo Clinic. Both will be applying to graduate programs within the next few years. As for their honeymoon, they will be headed to Maui, Hawaii in February of 2021! The future is unclear, but it will most definitely be bright!
