Andrew and I first met when he became a summer intern at our 12Stone Hamilton Mill campus the summer of 2015. He was 24 and I was 17, about to turn 18! He and I got to know each other through that internship while both serving in the ministries. The first time I found out about his accident was when he and the pastor were working together to set up a night where Andrew could share his testimony. That’s when some pieces of his story started to come together. I didn’t know much about him, but I knew that God had definitely saved his life. Moving forward to late April and early May of 2016, I realized God was up to something when Andrew and I started talking to each other more and began getting to know one another. Something about Andrew just immediately drew me in! He quickly became my best friend. July 23rd 2016, we had our first date! December 3rd 2016, we fell in love. September 22nd 2018, he proposed. February 23rd 2019, we'll be one.
