We're getting married!

We met freshmen year of college but, upon looking back, neither of us remember the actual day. We met through Cru, the ministry that both of us are apart of on campus. We ended up taking a class together and from there, we began to grow our friendship. Between sharing many meals together to drives up Mary's Peak, our friendship grew deeper.

After around a year of being friends, we finally went on our first date to Texas Roadhouse (Our favorite place to share a meal).

Kyle asked Andrea to be his girlfriend on March 3rd, 2023. He came to her door with flowers and asked the good old fashioned way as he was picking her up to go to the OSU Country Western Dance.

After a bit of a rocky summer, we returned to campus and began to look at how we can grow our relationship in the Lord together. We quickly settled into our lives after being apart for most of the summer (Andrea was on a summer mission with Cru!) and felt closer than ever.

We celebrated our one year by taking photos together (Andrea's idea, not Kyle's), and going to the coast to share a meal. Sitting in Mo's in Lincoln City, we ended up being blessed by watching a couple people be baptized just off the shore!

Andrea was off in Tahoe once again to serve with Cru while Kyle stayed back to work (he had to save up for something pretty big). After six weeks apart we were very excited to come back together and have a quiet summer in Corvallis. We spent many evenings watching TV, talking, and with friends.

At 4:45 am we left Corvallis to drive up to Mary's Peak to watch the sun rise. The weather had been pretty awful but we were hopeful for some colors and God delivered. We broke through the clouds and saw nothing but stars everywhere. We reached the top and watched the sun come up over the South Sister. You could see all the way up to Mt. Hood and the colors were so bright. Once the sun was past the mountains, Kyle got down on one knee you know the rest!
