The Details
After their first date, Jeff sent Erika a list of his favorite albums, one of them being Building Balance by Allen Stone. She listened to it a few times before sharing which song was her favorite - Give You Blue. Six months later, Allen Stone played at Minglewood Hall and this would be their fifth and favorite concert together. While wedding planning two years later, they learned Allen Stone was returning to Memphis, and it became obvious to them how they should spend their special day.
On the morning of December 12th, 2025, Jeff and Erika exchanged vows in the company of only their photographer, Sam Hill, and Jeff's brother, Casey Goodwin, who officiated the ceremony. They then got matching tattoos, which was Jeff's idea believe it or not, at Erika's regular shop, Hand of Mercy. The tattoo appointment was followed by dinner at Porch and Parlor in Overton Square. And to end the night, an Allen Stone concert at Minglewood Hall, where they shared their first dance to Give You Blue.
