Where is the wedding?

Answer

The wedding ceremony and reception will be hosted at The Barn of Hidden Valley located at 4212 Northridge Rd. Alexandria, OH 43001!

What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

In order to have all of our ducks in a row, we would LOVE it if all RSVPs could be completed by SEPTEMBER 1, 2026!

Will the ceremony/reception be outside?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside, but the reception will be inside. Please dress accordingly or bring jackets/extra pair of shoes if the weather goes south (it's October in Ohio...expect the unexpected).

Have you reserved a block of rooms for guest who need to stay?

Answer

We are working on getting a block of rooms reserved. We will update the website with details.

Question

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel?

Answer

No, unfortunately there will not be transportation provided. The venue has assured us that those who need to leave their vehicles at the site CAN and will NOT incur a fine/ticket/fee. Please pick them up the following day at your earliest convince though.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our event will be black-tie optional(think fancy dinner or other formal events). We would appreciate it if no one wore WHITE or any other similar color(ivory, cream, vanilla, eggshell)! The ceremony will be hosted on grass so think long and hard about the shoes you wear.

Are children allowed?

Answer

Children are allowed, but we would really love to keep the event 15 and over(I think we know a singular child and they have already been accounted for). Please reach out to Emma or Levi if you have questions or concerns.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Did you fill out the google form? If you did not, please see our save the dates to do so, or ask Emma or Levi for the link. Plus-ones are allowed, but PLEASE check with Emma or Levi beforehand.

Will there be food and drink provided?

Answer

Yes, there will be both food and drink provided. We will have appetizers during our cocktail hour and there will be a meal served afterwards. We will have an array of drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, but if there is something SPECIFIC you'd like to see, please contact Emma or Levi. We are currently working on our catering situation so details will be up shortly.

Is there a wedding itinerary?

Answer

As a type A person, Emma is currently working on the specific timeline. The general answer, is yes. Ceremony will start at 4:30pm, so plan to get there around 4pm in order to park and get a seat. Cocktail hour will be from 5pm-6pm and dinner, cake cutting, toasts, and dancing will follow. Last call for drinks will be at 9:45pm and we will need to start cleaning up by 11pm.

Can cellphones and cameras be used DURING the ceremony?

WE ARE HAVING AN UNPLUGGED CEREMONY! We have an excellent photographer and videographer coming to take our pictures! Therefore, we would appreciate all cameras and phones to be put away DURING our ceremony! There will be a moment after the ceremony when Emma and Levi will pose for a picture and you can use them then. During the cocktail hour and reception please feel free to take as many photos and videos as you like!

Can I post pictures and videos to social media?

Answer

Of course! We welcome all photos and videos that are taken during the allotted ceremony time and during the reception to be posted online. There will also be a QR code at the tables that allow you to share and view photos/videos with us and other guests! Don't forget to tag us and use our hashtag #stuck(e)withMEade!
