We will be trying to obtain a permit at one of the beautiful spots at the Grand Tetons! Our first choice is Schwabacher Landing. It's a beautiful spot along the highway that offers an amazing backdrop of the mountain range. The ceremony will be short, just us renewing our vows, so it will be standing room only. By obtaining a permit, we prevent another wedding from happening while we're there, this does not prevent the public from this area.
YES! If you plan to spend any time at the Grand Tetons or Yellowstone then get a US Park Pass for $80 and is good for everyone in your car (up to 4 adults) and good for the year! Day passes are available for $35. https://usparkpass.com/?msclkid=dc8d1d8bd7321ed87f4d7c40b0acd3a9&utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=UPP_ATB%2FNP&utm_term=america%20the%20beautiful%20national%20park%20pass&utm_content=America%20the%20Beautiful%20Pass
Since we won't be having a normal wedding crowd, we've decided to have a fun after party reception at our Airbnb. We will be providing drinks and desserts from a local gourmet chocolate shop!
Plan, plan, plan! June is a very popular time of the year for this area and places book up fast! I suggest staying in an AIrbnb. The hotels in Jackson, WY are crazy expensive so I suggest looking in Victor, ID (where we are staying).
We plan to mostly hike on other days we are there. Some of the hikes we plan to do are long and intense but everyone is welcome to join us if they are up for adventure! Of course, there are TONS of shorter hikes that will post in the Facebook group. There's shopping and some amazing restaurants in Jackson. Also, don't forget that Yellowstone is only about an hour from here!
