We met thanks to a mutual friend—someone who clearly had a little divine inspiration. Our first date was at Briar Creek Draft House, and to calm the nerves, we made up a game: five questions each. It was simple, playful, and unexpectedly powerful. That night, we talked for hours, laughed easily, and walked away feeling something rare—an instant connection that felt safe, deep, and real. Over the past five years, we’ve grown through so much together. We’ve shared late-night talks, parenting challenges, unexpected laughter, and the everyday moments that quietly build a life. Stuart introducing me to his amazing son, Landon, was a turning point—one that deepened our bond and added an entirely new kind of love and purpose to our journey. But more than anything, the greatest transformation in our relationship has come through growing closer to our Lord and Savior. Our faith has become the foundation that steadies us, shapes us, and reminds us of the kind of love we’re called to share—not just with each other, but with everyone around us. It’s in that faith that we’ve found peace during the hard times, joy in the simple things, and a hope that keeps us grounded and grateful. We’ve seen highs, lows, and everything in between—but through it all, God has been faithful. And now, as we step into this next chapter, we do so with full hearts, deep love, and trust in the One who brought us together in the first place.
