Isn't that how everyone meets these days? Allie dated online off and on for 10 years. Match.com, a really misguided adventure into Christian Mingle (she blames Coco, Tracey Walsh and too much wine for that one), Coffee Meets Bagel, Plenty of Fish. You name it, she tried it. Ace ripped the Band-Aid off, set up a Match.com account and met Allie a few weeks later. Like the Phillies signing Bryce Harper, some people are just lucky like that! Icebreakers included Allie asking Ace what movie he could watch over and over. Somehow, three years later he still hasn't shown her "My Cousin Vinny.” I mean, Joe Pesci, Marisa Tomei and Ralph Macchio, come on! After a few messages back and forth, Ace asked Allie to meet in person. A plan was set to meet for drinks on a Sunday afternoon at Evil Genius Brewing, which just happened to be closed for a private event that day. Ace got there first and, realizing he wasn’t in New Jersey anymore, headed home. Allie was on the Schuylkill Expressway and pretty disappointed when he went back to Jersey. So, she turned around and drove back to King of Prussia. Yet an hour later, they regrouped and decided to meet at Eight & Sand Beer Co. instead. Ace recalls Allie talking too much on the first date while Allie recounts he asked too many questions. After three hours, a whopping 1.5 beers each and several rounds of Sequence later, they called it a night and planned a second date. As you might expect, the rest is history. Many breweries (several of which they are thrilled to share with you at their wedding), a few road trips, and many many laughs later, they said yes to forever at Cape May Brewing Co. on March 29th, 2024! On October 4th, they’ll say “I Do” then start a lifetime together. They hope you can come celebrate with us, and they must know: Are you Team Bride or Team Groom?
