Alex and Ali met at a BBQ on the 4th of July in 2019. Ali had had a few drinks and was dancing by herself in the kitchen when a good friend of Alex's asked if he could introduce her to someone. With no other information, Ali had agreed and posed for a very "classy" picture with Alex's friend. Her tongue was out, with one eye closed and her head tilted to the side. How could Alex not want to come meet this girl right? Alex came to the BBQ where he talked to everyone else in the room besides Ali. Assuming he wasn't interested Ali continued to dance and have a great time anyways, little did she know he was too nervous to talk to her. When the night was over, Alex, like the gentleman he is, walked Ali to her Uber. When saying goodnight, Ali had turned to go in for a hug while Alex leaned in for a kiss which landed on her eye! With these smooth moves the rest is history! On Alex and Ali's 2nd year anniversary, the two woke up and decided to go out for breakfast. Sitting outside, Ali was enjoying her cup of coffee while Alex was uncharacteristically anxious. Alex couldn't stop looking at his watch insisting that they could not be late to meet up with friends in the park. Alex had the waitress wrap up the food that they never got the chance to eat! Alex began driving towards LookOut Mountain. Once there they began to hike down to a specific spot, and Ali in her summer dress and flip flops cursed the whole way down. Ali had turned around to find Alex down on one knee. Of course she said yes! And the two headed to a park where Alex surprised Ali with an engagement party full of family, friends and mimosas. Now Alex and Ali can not wait to celebrate their love and their journey with all of you who have supported them along the way. They can not wait to have you join them for all of the fun on the beach in beautiful Tulum, Mexico. And for those of you who are unable to join, Alex and Ali also can not wait for a larger celebration in Colorado coming in the summer of 2022.
