FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions - Feel free to contact the bride or groom with any other questions you may have before the big day
Question

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

We ask that you please RSVP by April 15, 2026. This will help us ensure we can plan properly for the amount of seating, as well as food and beverages, we will need for the big day. RSVP by mail, here on our website, or by sending a message to the bride or groom.

Question

Where will the ceremony and reception be held?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will both be held at the Marquette Regional History Center. We plan to transition between the ceremony and reception with a fun cocktail hour at our venue. No need to change locations - everything's all at the same place!

Question

What time should I arrive to the party?

Answer

To keep the day moving smoothly and the schedule running on time, we kindly ask that you plan to arrive approximately 30 minutes before the ceremony. Please join us quietly if you arrive after the ceremony start. Feel free to join the reception at any time you please.

Question

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

Answer

There is limited parking at the Marquette Regional History Center. This parking will be first come, first serve and we ask that you leave it for guests who need accommodations. There is plenty of public parking around the building in which you may utilize throughout the evening. Public parking lots do not require payments on Saturdays and Sundays.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We don't need you going all out for our day. Come in what makes you comfortable! Think semi-formal/summer casual style.

Question

Can I take photos?

Answer

Absolutely! We would even love it if you shared some of your favorites with us. We just ask that during the ceremony, you refrain from taking pictures or blocking the views of our photographers.

Question

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Pending the weather, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside in the greenery area of the Marquette Regional History Center. We will move inside for dinner and dancing. Both spaces will be open for you throughout our entire evening.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Absolutely! There are so many kids in our lives whom we love dearly. Please feel free to bring them along to celebrate with us.

Question

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

Answer

We will have all kinds of goodies to help keep your belly full and ready to party. Enjoy charcuterie style snacks during cocktail hour, followed by a meal catered by Mama Russo's. And of course we will have cake and a variety of other sweets after dinner.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

We will be having an open bar, including beer, wine, and signature cocktails. We will also have non-alcoholic beverages available all evening. Cheers!

Question

What time will your wedding reception end?

Answer

At the end of the evening, we ask that all guests be respectful of our venue and head out by 11:00pm.
