FAQs

Question

When are RSVPs due?

Answer

The wedding is on Friday, December 11, 2026! To ensure we provide updated headcount to vendors, we ask that guests please send in their final RSVPs by October 1st, 2026.

Question

What is the address of the airbnb/venue?

Answer

The venue is located in Las Catalinas, Guanacaste Province, Costa Rica. For navigation, use Waze with the following address: Palacio de Paz, Playa Potrero Please note there’s a steep hill leading up to the venue, and some shuttles may not be able to access it. We’re happy to help shuttle guests from the base of the hill if needed. If you’re renting a car, we recommend reserving a 4WD vehicle.

Question

Which airport should I fly into?

Answer

LIR (Liberia International Airport) and SJO (San José International Airport) are the two major airports closest to Las Catalinas. We recommend flying into LIR (50 minutes away) and either renting a car or arranging a transfer. If you’d like assistance, our event team is happy to arrange travel for our guests! Just share your travel plans with Ryan & me, and we’ll pass the details along to them.

Question

Will there be any other events or activities prior to wedding day?

Answer

Yes! We’ll be hosting a welcome party on Thursday, the wedding on Friday, and a farewell boat day on Saturday. We would love if our guests can plan to attend the Thursday–Saturday wedding festivities. Outside of those events, all other days are completely optional and at your own leisure. Since we’ll be there for several days, we may plan a few casual adventures (scuba diving/beaches, coffee tours, hikes, etc.), and you’re always welcome to join if you’d like!

Question

How long should I stay in Costa Rica for?

Answer

Ryan and I will be staying at the Airbnb/venue from December 5–13, 2026. Thursday–Saturday are wedding-related festivities, but beyond that, your trip length is completely up to you. Feel free to arrive early and spend time with us before the wedding, or just come in for the main events—whatever works best for you!

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

While we absolutely love your little ones, we’ve decided to make our wedding an adults‑only celebration. To allow everyone to fully relax and enjoy the evening, only immediate family will be able to bring children. We truly appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate together!

Question

What will the weather be like in Las Catalinas in December?

Answer

December weather in Las Catalinas is warm and comfortable, with daytime temperatures usually in the 80s and cooler evenings in the 70s. It’s the start of the dry season, so while you may see an occasional rain shower, days are typically sunny and pleasant. We suggest light layers and a rain jacket—just in case!
