Question

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE FOR THE CEREMONY?

Answer

The ceremony is set to begin at 4:30 PM. We ask that guests please start arriving around 4 PM to allow time for parking and time to get to the ceremony site (stone pavilion). Please head straight to the ceremony site and be seated so we can start on time.

Question

WHAT SHOULD I DO IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE CEREMONY?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bride, groom, and family will be whisked away for photos. Guests should listen for prompts from the DJ and/or officiant so you can be directed towards the reception area located in the back of the park.

Question

ARE THERE ANY COVID RESTRICTIONS?

Answer

Currently, we do not foresee any state mandates impacting our wedding. We encourage you to make your own decisions about your personal safety and the safety of the people you regularly come into contact with. We do not want anyone to feel uncomfortable so we respect any decision to modify your attendance (masks, limited interaction, etc.) for the sake of your safety.

Question

IS THERE GOING TO BE ALCOHOL SERVED?

Answer

While we want our guests to have a great time, we will not be providing alcohol. We will provide all non-alcoholic beverages free of charge. Water, lemonade and tea will be available.

Question

WILL I NEED A PARK PASS SINCE THE WEDDING IS AT A STATE PARK?

Answer

You will need a park pass to park inside the state park. Day passes will be provided to guests at $5 per car. Car pooling can help save on these costs (as well as make parking easier).

Question

WHAT IS AN UNPLUGGED CEREMONY AND IS THIS ONE?

Answer

An unplugged ceremony means that we prefer you to be present in the moment and not on your phones, cameras, or other electronic devices. We know that everyone is excited to share our marriage and capture the moment, but we have hired professionals to take care of that. Please help us maintain the intimacy of the moment and allow our photographer to capture our special day unobstructed. We are more than happy to provide guests with photos from the ceremony to help you relive the moment. There will be plenty of time and opportunities at the reception to take photos of/with the bride and groom as well!

Question

IS THERE A DRESS CODE?

Answer

The dress code is Semi-formal or Dressy Casual. Women, try a dress or a dressy skirt and top. An elegant pantsuit is also appropriate. Floor-length gowns, however, would be inappropriate. Pair with heels, nice wedges, sandals or formal flats. The ceremony is being held outdoors and you'll be walking across some uneven rocks, avoid traditional heels that may possibly make you fall. Men should wear a dress shirt and slacks, with the option to wear a tie. Semiformal gives you flexibility on comfort, but be sure not to dress too casual, as you may be in pictures with the bride and groom and/or wedding party.
