We met at my cousin's wedding in Harper's Ferry, West Virginia. After the wedding, a group of us, including me and Jordan, took a photo. Jordan asked me to send it to him, so I told him to turn on airdrop. He replied with, "I don't have airdrop," when in fact, he had an iPhone 8 at the time. He proceeded to ask for my number or snapchat. I then declined his request. I left from the wedding and he and I briefly talking in December of 2020. It was not until April 10, 2021, that we started talking. He came to Georgia for the first time to see me on July 1st and officially started dating July 3rd. He proposed December 23, 2021 and our special day is September 2, 2022

The day of the engagement, I was under the impression that we were going Christmas shopping and then eating at my sister’s house at five o’clock that evening. Well, I ran by my college dorm to get some clothes and we didn’t get to sister’s house til about 5:49 p.m. When we arrived, I parked and saw some lights at the back, behind my sister’s house. Jordan got out and told me he had a surprise for me. I asked if i needed to cover my eyes, he told me yes and i stumbled, holding to his arm til we got to where he was asking me to be his wife. Still with my eyes closed, he handed me what i thought was flowers at the time, a beautiful turquoise Bible, got down on one knee and started crying as he said, “Madison Paige, will you marry me?” I, of course, said, “Yes.” We hugged, i turned around and looked at how beautiful everything was set up, and in the middle of a heart made out of rose petals was an ornament that said, “Madison, will you marry me? 12/23/21” It truly was a dream come true ✨❤️😭
