We're getting married!

We met on the first day of the semester our third year at Baylor in Exercise Physiology class. Grace had just switched her major and didn't know anyone else in it. We didn't talk for the first couple of weeks into the semester though until we became part of a group of 4 that sat together in several of our classes. We spent that first semester only seeing each other in class but slowly became friends. We parted ways for the summer but were excited knowing we had every single class together during the fall semester of senior year. The fall was filled with a lot of talking in class (we sat next to each other in every class), Matt giving Grace rides to her car from his special parking garage on campus, working on a big project together, and a lot of small moments Matt now likes to say made up a years worth of first dates. It was safe to say we were very close friends who were falling for each other more and more every day. Finally, Grace couldn't take it anymore, and under the disguise of giving Matt a Christmas present, she told him that she wanted to be more than friends. When we came back for our Spring semester of senior year we went on our first official date to Cameron Park where we went on a walk and a long drive to talk about whether we really wanted to take the leap into a relationship. As you all know we clearly did and four days after our first date Matt asked Grace to be his girlfriend on January 15th. Our time together has been filled with so much love, laughter, new experiences, and incredible memories, and we could not be more grateful that we get to be best friends and spouses for life.
