We’re getting married and can’t wait for all of you to witness!

Our story Sydney and Thomas grew up on opposite sides of Worthington—he went to Thomas, she went to Kilbourne. Years later, Sydney started working at Smoky Row Children’s Center, not knowing the owners had a very cute son who spent his summers there. She’d heard Thomas mentioned in her daily gossip sessions with his mom, but never thought much of it. That changed at a Smoky Row party at Nocterra, where Thomas and Sydney’s friend Maya sat them at the same table. To this day, Sydney swears Thomas never introduced himself, and Thomas swears he did. Later that night, Sydney asked Maya for his number, and the talking began. Thomas was away at Kent, which made scheduling a first date tough, but the two made up for it with nonstop texting and FaceTiming. On September 17, 2022, they finally had their first date—both too nervous to eat—so they grabbed McDonald’s and had a picnic instead. Thomas asked her three separate times to be his girlfriend before she officially said yes on October 20th. Since then, they’ve built a life together: moving into their first apartment, getting a puppy, and now becoming homeowners in Old Worthington
