Noah and Ellie’s love story began in the same place they will share their vows on their wedding day, at The Cathedral of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. Both faithful attendees, Noah and Ellie crossed paths at church for several weeks before Ellie shared her curiosity about Noah with bridesmaid, Ann Ragan, and nursing school friend, Sarah, who knew exactly how to get that information to Noah. Being the thoughtful man he is, Noah reached out to Ellie just in time before her move back home. Although they don’t agree about whether it was a first date (Ellie says “yes’, Noah says it was a “hangout”), they met at Bearden Beer Market, and the rest is history. The next week Noah asked Ellie on their first “real” date on a walk through Sequoyah Hills and ice cream at Bruster’s. Over the next eighteen months, a few of their favorite memories included watching the Vols play football, lake days, hanging out with friends, and a one year anniversary date that Noah planned with all the details. They also wore out I-40 traveling between Clarksville and Knoxville as they dated long distance once Ellie graduated and began working in Nashville. Noah proposed on January 1st, 2025 at Ellie’s home parish, Immaculate Conception, and the happy couple then joined family and friends at Ellie’s home for a joyous celebration. Their relationship has been grounded in their love of God above one another, and they are dedicated to building a life on His firm foundation. They cannot wait for November 14th, 2025 to begin their lives together as husband and wife!
