We met through our best friends, Morgan and Eva Clarke, during their wedding weekend in 2022. Since we were living in different cities, we didn't meet throughout our best friend's relationship until they got married in California! Then, as Best Man and Maid of Honor, Collin walked Madison down the aisle (spoiler alert: not for the last time). We flirted, got to know one another, and Collin held Madison's hand down a mountain during a night hike. Somehow, Collin still did not "get the hint" that Madison was as interested as Collin was. We parted ways after a full weekend, and our friends continued to tease us about each other throughout the following year, yet thought us indifferent. One night, just over a year from our initial meeting, Morgan teased Madison for the last time about how funny and great Collin was. Madison said, "Well, if he had just called me after your wedding, maybe things would be different!" To make a long story short, Collin drove from Houston to Austin to take Madison on their first date just one week later on 11/11/2023. We have been inseparable ever since, and managed "long distance" throughout PA school, and were engaged on April 11th, 2025. After Madison finished PA school, we moved into our rental house on July 11th, 2025, and subsequently into our forever home on April 11th, 2026, on the anniversary of our engagement. Notice a theme here? We really like the number 11. We also love our dog Oliver, and our two cats, Smudge and Juniper. Together, we love trying new food, playing board games, and spending time with our loved ones and pets. We are truly each other's best friends, and can't believe how lucky we are.
