Update 5/16: We’re still not requiring that everyone get COVID tests but would like to request it in a few important instances. Regardless of vaccination status: - If you have ANY symptom - If you’ve been in contact with someone who tested positive in the last two weeks - If you’ve been in large crowds where distancing was impossible in the last two weeks If you fall within one of those categories please take a test before attending any of the wedding events. We ask that you only share your result with us if you test positive and can no longer attend. We know this isn't a perfect solution but the safety of everyone in attendance and for the loved ones each of us will see after the wedding is top priority. We’ll have masks on hand for anyone who feels more comfortable wearing one (not required but will be available). Please help us celebrate safely! Health insurance now generally covers the cost of tests. You can also request free at-home tests here: https://special.usps.com/testkits
Due to guests staying in different locations and lack of shuttle services in the area, there will be no group transportation to and from the venue. There is free parking at the Abbie Holmes Estate. If you find yourself unable to drive at the end of the night, the wedding coordinators confirmed that you can leave your car parked overnight at the venue. PLEASE drive responsibly! If you need a ride, use promo code GoingFarrell for $15 off Lyft rides. Just FYI—we’re told there can be longer waits for car service in the area since Lyfts and Ubers prioritize the islands so please plan accordingly and request in advance! To get to the venue, it’s best to type in Abbie Holmes Estate in Lyft as it recognizes several addresses for the venue. To confirm you’re going to the correct spot, make sure you see the Avalon Campground next to it on the map!
Yes! Check out the Travel page for room block details.
Unfortunately, as much as we’d love to invite everyone’s kids, we can only accommodate children in our immediate family (including first cousins). We hope you understand and that you will still be able to join us in the celebration!
