FAQs

The Wedding Website of Sarah Strba and Travis Spreen
Question

What is the dress code? Colors?

Answer

Semi formal/cocktail attire requested. Our color scheme is sunset colors- think bright orange, fuschia, peach, baby blue, lavender, butter yellow... Any color you'd see in a sunset! Florals and any bright or pastel summery colors are fine too. For more ideas, please visit the pinterest board: https://pin.it/2OFELf1MV

Question

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by June 15th.

Question

What does the schedule look like?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 2pm on Saturday 8/22 in downtown Portland. Plan to leave downtown PDX by ~3pm as the commute to Carlton for the reception is just under an hour. The reception will start at 4pm with a cocktail hour, followed by dinner, dancing, and all the wedding festivities!

Question

Do I need to attend both the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

Nope! We know attending both is a time and transportation commitment so there is no pressure to attend both. If you choose to attend only the ceremony or reception please indicate that in your RSVP so we can give the caterer an accurate headcount.

Question

+1's? Kids?

Answer

For any questions regarding your guests or children, please text Travis or Sarah

Question

Food?

Answer

Charcuterie will be served at cocktail hour, and there will be a truck serving pizza and salad for dinner. It will be buffet style. If you have any allergies please let us know so we can communicate that to the vendors.

Question

Parking?

Answer

Regarding the ceremony- the church has a designated parking lot located off of NW 18th Ave and NW Davis St. It only has a capacity of about 90 cars. Once that lot fills up, there is another paid lot at the corner of NW 19th Ave and NW Davis St. The main entrance of the Church is on the corner of NW 18th Ave and NW Couch St. Per the church's request, we kindly ask all cars to be removed from the church lot by 4pm as there is a soccer game that evening and parking spots will be sold. Regarding the reception- the winery has a gravel lot with 70 spots. We are expecting ~85 guests total, so if you are travelling with a group we absolutely recommend carpooling for better ease with parking!

Question

Where is your registry?

Answer

We opted out of a traditional registry- all we want is cash for our honeymoon!
