We’re getting married!

I had just packed my bags, got in my truck with my dog, and moved to Alaska from Montana. I had no plan so I was looking for jobs and exploring Anchorage when I stopped in at 49th State Brewery. I was sitting at the bar area and had just ordered a drink when Andrew approached me and asked if he could buy me a drink. I awkwardly looked down at my drink and said “well I already ordered one…but we can sit together?” He agreed and, without realizing I was supposed to close my tab before I left the bar, I got up to find a more quiet table across the room. He was nice enough to quietly take care of my tab with the poor bartender who was a little baffled I just got up and left without paying. (Oops) We chatted for a while and I instantly loved his company and of course couldn’t stop thinking how pretty his blue eyes were. I knew I wanted to see him again and was 98% sure he wasn’t a serial killer so I gave him my number. We had a wonderful time and I teased him about being a Patriots fan. He teased me back about being a Seattle Seahawks fan. Touché. After that I said I had to go and as we were leaving the brewery a couple asked Andrew to take a picture for them. I yelled goodbye to him but I guess he didn’t hear me because to this day he says I “ran away” But he ended up catching me. Little did he know it would be for forever 🤍
