When we first met, we had the opportunity ride by gondola on the canals of Venice, Italy. We traveled, dated in high school, went to prom, and Joe became an Eagle Scout! We ventured on our own paths during college. But fate had our paths crossing again. A few years later Joe found me on linkedin. I am so grateful for this because it lead to him making that long drive to Flagstaff, AZ to visit me. And the adventure really began. Camping trips, Cruises, Sedona Magic, any opportunity to travel together. On December 30th, 2022, Joesph treating me to a trip to Coronado Island. A date. A very important date. The date started with a strange woman handing me this bundle of incredible red roses as we waited for our gondolier. Yes! Did anyone else know there were gondoliers on the waterways of Coronado island! Our Gondolier had champagne, and truffles beautifully arranged in the gondola just waiting for our presence and the magic to begin. Our cruise was special already but then….Joseph was down on one knee! Joe asked me to marry him! I blushed and said yes! Here’s to many more memories!! Hope to see you when we get married in Hawaii!
