We're getting married!

We met at a youth group at True Oak Fellowship. His cousin was the youth director at the time and invited Shelby and his brother to come hang out. I saw Shelby and thought "wow he's really cute." He saw me and thought that I was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. It only took us 3 years before deciding to date. Took us long enough but it was the best decision ever!

We went out to eat with one of his friends and his girlfriend. We all decided to go downtown to a bar called Flashback Retro Pub that's 80s themed and has all different kinds of arcade games. Shelby and I were standing outside, waiting on his friend to close his tab when Shelby pulled out a ring and said "Here, this is for you. I really love you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you." Of course, I didn't believe it was actually happening. I couldn't fathom it and kept saying "you're messing with me." He finally asked me if I wanted the ring and I said yes in a heartbeat. He had always told me that I wouldn't have any idea as to when he would propose and he was right about that.
