What is the dress code?
Answer
The dress code is casual! The color scheme of the reception is yellow, black, and white. We'd love to have guests wear those colors, but it is entirely optional.
Question
What are the seating arrangements?
Answer
There are 2 picnic tables and 3 picnic blankets, all of which have pillows. We will be attaching place cards to the boxed lunches and placing them in a spot, though everyone is free to move around as they please!

How should we address you?
Answer
Carson uses they/them pronouns (except for with close family members), and Layne uses they/them and he/him pronouns. We both prefer the term "husband", though Carson uses gender neutral language besides that.

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
Unfortunately, no. This is a small reception in a small venue, and we've chosen our guest list carefully. However, if something like childcare makes this an issue, feel free to reach out at strangewedding2023@gmail.com and we'll try to accommodate!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?
Answer
We did our best to accommodate a variety of food restrictions with our chosen meals. If none of them work for you and you need to bring your own meal, no offense taken!
