Nick and Rachel work for the same architectural firm, in two separate offices. They were assigned to a project at University of California Santa Barbara, to spend long days measuring a main building of the campus. However, they spent most of the time focusing on each other. Happily, they were assigned the same tasks several months later on another part of campus. The timing was right, and soon the two were trading weekends visiting each other in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara. Fast forward two years, Nick proposed to Rachel in Port de Sóller, Mallorca, on the Mediterranean shore under the moonlight.
