We met online during the COVID lockdown, with neither of us expecting much at the time. But, once we were back on Stetson’s Deland campus that fall, our casual conversations quickly turned into dates, and by November we were officially dating. After graduating in 2022, Katie moved to St. Pete for law school, and Joe stayed in Orlando for work. We spent most weekends visiting each other until Joe moved to St. Pete with Katie in 2023. In April 2025, Joe proposed right before Katie's graduation. Now we’re living in Sarasota and getting ready to celebrate with all of you!
